Loop Communications will need the following information to setup your Salesforce integration:
- Salesforce URL (the link you access Salesforce with, i.e. https://DomainName.my.salesforce.com)
- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
Instructions to setup API Access
- Click on the Settings Gear -> Setup
- On the left navigation under "Platform tools", click on "Apps", then "Apps Manager"
- Click "New Connected App" button
- Enter "LoopCommunications" for the Connected App Name and API Name. Enter your email address for Contact Email
- Select "Enable OAuth Settings" Checkbox which will show the Oauth Settings fields
- Callback URL = https://api2.loopcommunications.com/salesforce/oauth_callback
- Select the following OAuth Scopes:
- Manage user data via APIs (api)
- Perform requests at any time (refresh_token, offline_access)
- Uncheck "Require Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE)
- Click "Save" at the bottom of the page
- After clicking save, you will see something like this, just click "Continue"
- Click "Manage Consumer Details" Button
- Copy Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
Once you have the required information on hand, visit the CRM Integration page on our Customer portal and enter it into the fields provided. If you do not have access to modify your integration information, please reach out to our Support team.
